Officially a week! Wow, it's been a long time.

Over the years, I've learned many things, and while I don't have time to tell you everything that I've learned, I will part with this one story.  You see, there once was this little girl, her name was Tanko.  She had always been a good girl, taking care of her family's animals, going to the well to get water, and even cleaning all the filth out of the barn.  Yes, she was a good little girl.

One day, however, another girl moved into the house just down the road from her.  She was not a good girl.  She wouldn't water the flowers or do anything her parents asked of her.  She would just dance through the flowers, and tease and mock anyone and anything that got in her way.  She would pick up ants and throw them far away from their group; she would pick up flowers and tear them to shreds just so she could feel the sensation of ripping something; she also loved to poke small animals with sticks, especially the dead or dying ones.

This girl was named Anna, and she was not nice in any way.  Tanko tried and tried to get along with Tanko, but Anna always ended up tearing off Tanko's little dollies' heads, or eating all the treats when they had picnics; one time she even smacked Tanko's head because she asked Anna to play nicely.  Tanko was very sad.  She thought that she would have a new play friend when Anna moved in, but it didn't appear that way.  But it just wasn't to be so.

Finally, something inside of Tanko snapped.  It probably had something to do with watching Anna hitting her chickens with sticks.  One of Tanko's chickens actually died.  After a day of mourning, Tanko didn't come to see Anna, not that Anna really cared or even particularly noticed.  However, that night, Anna woke up and found herself tied to the bedposts.  She couldn't move.  She could just hear breathing.  She looked around and finally spotted Tanko in the corner, with something shiny in her hand.

No one knows what happened to Anna; she was reported missing several days later.  However, Tanko resumed being her happy, normal self, and life continued on as before Anna showed up.

"So you see," came the husky voice from a dark corner of the room, "do what you will, but evil will always be punished, and good will keep on just as it always had.  And, my dear," the voice took on shape as it moved towards the woman tied to her bed posts, something in its grasp shimmered as the light hit it, "you have done some very, very evil things."  And with that, the shadow ended the reign of her evil.

(Wow, that one seemed really dark, I don't know if you guys had the same feeling or not.  I was trying to go for a fairy tale type thing with a moral, as told by someone else.  Hopefully it's not too confusing.  Again, sorry about the late post, to all of you who are following me.  Tomorrow, I should be done writing before work, so hopefully more will get to read it.  Anyway, please, as always, let me know what you think, or if you have any questions, suggestions, or requests.  Peace out, and have a good night.)
